NEMA TS 1 Troubleshooting Seminar
This two day (16 hour) troubleshooting seminar and exam covers basic traffic signal operation, function and troubleshooting of TS 1 Traffic Signal Assemblies, Cabinet Components and Terminal Facilities. This seminar is designed to introduce the attendees to basic and intermediate troubleshooting procedures with a slant towards safety and reducing legal liability. This seminar will be extremely helpful to individuals who are beginning a career in the traffic industry or who require basic knowledge of troubleshooting. In addition, this seminar will cover:
•Hands-on troubleshooting of common problems
•Conflict monitor operation
•Operation of auxiliary components
•Record keeping
•Use of electrical meters and test equipment
•Logical steps for observing and troubleshooting a problem
•Overview of electrical principals and safety
•Overview of applicable sections of the NEC and NESC
•Bonding and Grounding
•Overview of signal phasing, operation and terminology
•Overview of preventive maintenance
•Overview of Tort Liability

This is a two day course.
Sucessful completion requires the passing of a 50 question closed book exam at the completion of the course.
